Limited Warranty

inTENTional warrants to the original purchaser that its products are free from major defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Upon receipt of your product(s), an inspection should be completed within 14 days, if a material or workmanship defect is found, call customer service at 1-800-235-2607 for a Return Authorization (RA) number. If, after inspection, we find that the product was defective in material or workmanship, we shall, at our option, either repair or replace it without charge, including additional costs associated with the return. We are not responsible for normal wear and tear, or for damage caused by shipping, accidents, misuse, alterations, or improper installations. Excluded are holes, punctures, tears, pole rub marks and other damages that typically occur during normal installation. Additionally, although we manufacture inTENTional tent products with quality fabrics, we are not responsible for the negative effects of climate, pollution, acts of God, and long or semi-permanent installations. Because tents are temporary structures, it is necessary that any inTENTional tent be installed and maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The use of commercial washing and drying machines will void this warranty.

Limitations of Liability

inTENTional is not liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use, misuse, or inability to use its products, including but not limited to loss of revenue or business. Our tents are temporary structures and should not be relied on for protection in severe weather conditions. The customer is responsible for proper installation, use, and supervision.

Installation Training

Installation training is available through inTENTional for new customers or existing customers that purchase new products. inTENTional needs at least 30 days notice to schedule the training session. Also, please note that the training session will be a practice installation and not a rental job. Please call 1-800-235-2607 for more information on installation techniques.

Flame Resistance

When dealing with local fire and code officials, proof of flame resistance is extremely important. All inTENTional commercial tents are manufactured using flame retardant fabrics that comply with one or more of the following regulations: NFPA-701 (Large Scale), FMVSS-302, CAN/ULC-S109-MB7 and CPAI-84.

As proof of compliance, a flame certificate is sealed into every inTENTional commercial product. These flame certificates will clearly indicate only the exact regulations with which that individual tent is compliant. In addition to the Flame Certificate sewn into each inTENTional tent, a copy of the flame certificate is packed with each piece of vinyl.

Blockout Fabric

Blockout vinyl laminate fabrics may contain slight imperfections. Although the highest quality control and inspection processes are used to manufacture this material, the possibility remains that light may penetrate or pin holes may appear in the body of your tent. This may also be apparent in dark colored or translucent fabric. Should pin holes be discovered, call inTENTional Customer Service at 1-800-235-2607.

Cold Weather Use

Tent and sidewall vinyl materials are treated for moderate cold-weather tolerance. However, these products are not intended for use below 32°F or in harsh winter conditions. In such temperatures, vinyl becomes more brittle and may crack or shatter if handled improperly.

Clear Fabric

Clear vinyl lacks internal scrim reinforcement and is more vulnerable to UV exposure, wind, moisture, and temperature changes. Due to its elasticity, it is also prone to ponding/bagging during rain. Frequent inspections and active water removal during rainfall are recommended to prevent damage.

Mildew Prevention and Maintenance

While our fabrics are treated for mildew resistance, mildew can still form in damp environments. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect, dry, and store tents properly. Never store tents while wet or damp. Store off the ground in a cool, dry space. Tent fabric should be cleaned using mild soap and water. Avoid bleach, solvent-based cleaners, or abrasive tools, as they can damage vinyl. Use soft cloths or non-abrasive sponges, and allow the material to dry fully before packing. Fabric should be stored in sealed bags, off the floor, away from pests, and in stable temperatures.

Water Resistance

Tent fabrics cannot be guaranteed to be waterproof.

Warnings

inTENTional commercial products are manufactured for use as temporary protection from sun and light rain. For the safety of all occupants, it is required that a complete evacuation of the tent takes place in threatening or severe weather. The tent should also be evacuated if there is any doubt concerning the safe use of this product.

Important Notice

  1. The installer or installation company is responsible for the proper and safe installation of each tent. Careful analysis of all possible obstructions (overhead and underground) must be made in advance to determine the type or style of tent that is appropriate for this location and event. Staking requirements must be determined onsite for each installation. The installation company or individual installer must follow the manufacturer’s guidelines and proceed to secure each tent adequately for the site. Some sites may require additional staking or anchoring methods other than those provided with the tent. inTENTional’s responsibility is limited to the construction of the tent. We cannot be responsible for the methods that installers may use to anchor their tents or the results of such anchoring.
  2. The use of proper safety equipment is required for each tent installation. Hard hats, gloves, safety shoes, safety glasses and other protective gear should be used at all times when installing and breaking down inTENTional tents.
  3. Good judgement and common sense must be used for each tent installation. Since weather is unpredictable, it is the responsibility of the installer to determine the proper time and method to install, secure and dismantle tents. A complete evacuation of the tent is recommended if the weather becomes threatening or if there is any doubt concerning the safety or integrity of the tent.
